Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Clysentra website (www.clysentra.com) handles, why, and what rights you have. It describes the website as it currently operates, including the measurement stack described below. If that changes, this page will be updated.

Who we are

Clysentra is a B2B manufacturing marketing agency working with technical and engineered-component manufacturers. This website is operated by Clysentra.

Clysentra is the trading name for this website.Contact us through the form.

The short version

This site loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate site usage, and Google's reCAPTCHA protects the contact form. The free tools on this site process only the URL you submit, plus a short-lived technical identifier used to prevent abuse. If you contact us through the contact form, we use the details you provide to reply to your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

Analytics and measurement

This site loads Google Tag Manager, which is the container that delivers our measurement tags. Inside that container we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-1R2W9GBP0X) for aggregate site-usage measurement. Both are operated by Google, which acts as a processor for this data.

Google Analytics 4 collects:

  • Page views and the page they happened on, and the events we define for calls to action, Playbook PDF downloads, and form submissions.
  • Approximate location, usually derived from the country or region resolved from the network address rather than the address itself.
  • The referring site, the browser and device, and the time of the visit.

Google Analytics 4 sets its own first-party cookies (such as _ga and _gid) and a Google Signals identifier. It does not receive the content of the forms on this site, and we do not use it to build behavioral profiles of named individuals. It requires JavaScript, which is one reason it is not available when JavaScript is switched off.

Hosting infrastructure

Like any website, pages are delivered through hosting infrastructure. That infrastructure may process standard technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps) as part of serving pages and keeping the site secure.

This website is hosted by Netlify. As part of delivering pages and keeping the site secure, Netlify processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps) as part of its infrastructure-level serving.

Free website tools

This site offers free checkers (AI crawler access, RFQ path, and product pages). When you use one:

  • You submit a URL to be checked.
  • Our server fetches that URL (or its robots.txt) directly, analyzes it, and returns the results to your browser. Requests are sent with an identifying user agent: ClysentraToolsBot/1.0.
  • We do not sell submitted URLs, share them with third parties for marketing, or add them to mailing lists.
  • To prevent abuse, requests are rate limited using a technical identifier derived from your connection (such as the forwarded IP address). This identifier is held temporarily in server memory for abuse prevention only, is not persisted to a database, and expires when the server restarts.
  • The tools do not use cookies.

Contact form

The contact page asks for voluntary business details: name, company, work email, company website (optional), the services you are interested in (optional, multi-select), and an optional message. These fields exist so we can understand your situation and reply.

When you submit the form, your entries are sent from your browser to a server-side endpoint on this website (POST /api/contact). On the server, the submission is validated and rate limited per connection, then transmitted to our email provider, Resend, which delivers it as an email to Clysentra. The email's reply-to address is set to the work email you provided, so any reply reaches you directly. Submissions are not stored in a database by this website.

Resend acts as a data processor for contact-form submissions. Inquiry information is kept only as long as needed to handle the correspondence and any resulting business relationship, and as required by law.

If you email us directly instead, we process what you send us for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

Spam protection

The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3. Unlike the measurement tags above, reCAPTCHA is part of submitting the form rather than part of measuring the visit, so it runs on the page that contains the form. It sets a Google cookie (_GRECAPTCHA), reads the request itself, and returns a score that we use to accept or reject a submission. Google acts as a processor for this data, and Google's ownPrivacy Policy andTerms of Service apply to it.

Search engine webmaster tools

We use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. These are operator-side services: they show us aggregated, anonymized search performance data about our own site (queries, impressions, click-through rates). They are not visitor analytics and do not give us identities of individual visitors. Verification may involve a DNS record, meta tag, or file placed on our domain; it does not track you.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. The cookies and similar storage it does use are:

  • Google measurement cookies (_ga, _gid, and a Google Signals identifier), set by Google Analytics 4.
  • The reCAPTCHA v3 cookie (_GRECAPTCHA), set by Google on pages that contain the contact form, as described under Spam protection.

Why we process information

  • To operate, deliver, and secure the website and its free tools.
  • To respond to inquiries you choose to send us.
  • To prevent abuse of the free tools and the contact form (rate limiting, reCAPTCHA scoring).
  • To see, in aggregate, which pages and calls to action are used.

The purposes above describe what this website does with information. We have not stated a single legal basis that covers all of these activities. Where an applicable law requires a specific legal basis (such as consent, contract performance, compliance with an obligation, or legitimate interests) for a particular processing activity, we will assess and rely on the appropriate basis for that activity and update this policy accordingly.

Third-party providers

The personal-data footprint of this website comes from its hosting infrastructure and from Google's measurement stack. Providers used elsewhere in the business (for example, email) apply to direct correspondence, not to browsing this site.

This website is hosted by Netlify. Resend is our email provider and processes contact-form submissions as described in the Contact form section above. Google operates Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and reCAPTCHA, and processes data as described in the Analytics and measurement and Spam protection sections above. Other providers used in the business (for example, for domain registration) will be named here as they are confirmed and as this policy is finalised.

International data transfers

Our service providers and we may process information in countries other than yours, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those in the EEA, UK, Canada, or Australia. Where required, appropriate transfer safeguards will be applied.

Where a provider processes data outside your region, we will apply appropriate transfer safeguards as required by law. Specific processing locations and transfer mechanisms will be named here once providers are confirmed.

Data retention

Tool rate-limit identifiers exist only transiently in server memory, as described above. We keep inquiry-related information only as long as needed to handle the correspondence and any resulting business relationship, and as required by law.

Analytics event data collected by Google Analytics 4 is retained by Google for 14 months by default, after which it is deleted or aggregated. Host log retention is set by our hosting provider. Inquiry information is kept only as long as needed to handle the correspondence and any resulting business relationship, and as required by law.

Your rights

Your rights depend on where you live. Broadly, you can ask us:

  • Whether we hold personal information about you, and what it is.
  • To correct information that is wrong.
  • To delete information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • To object to or restrict certain processing.

If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR / UK GDPR also gives you the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (or the UK Information Commissioner's Office).

If you are in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act gives you the right to access your personal information held by an organization, challenge its accuracy, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Australian privacy law, including the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988, applies based on an organization's constitutional connections to Australia and the nature of its activities, not merely because someone in Australia can visit a website. Whether those obligations currently apply to Clysentra has not been confirmed, so no automatic entitlement under that Act is asserted here. If you are in Australia and have a privacy question or concern, you can still contact us using the details below, and we will handle your request fairly regardless of where you live. If applicable law does grant you rights (for example, access and correction rights) or complaint avenues through the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, we will respect them.

To exercise any right, contact us using the details below. Requests about measurement data are handled through Google, which provides its own controls for deleting the data it holds under your account or device; we will also stop sending you to it as soon as you ask.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Measurement data is requested from Google over that same connection, and the main remaining security duty concerns form and email handling; safeguards will be described here as those come online.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the date below. Material changes affecting how we use previously collected information will be flagged clearly.

Contact

Questions about this policy or requests to exercise your rights can besent through the contact form.
